Un piccolo Giotto schizza un albero

una casa, persone in un prato.

La voce racconta a se stessa la scena.

Il piccolo Giotto osserva le linee,

scuote la testa e getta il  foglio

della sua delusione  nella carta straccia.

Dalla sua matita  nuove linee

mentre la voce racconta altre storie.

Schizzare una vita, raccontarsela,

pensare scenari e desiderare futuri:

Ma se insoddisfatti, i futuri sapranno

amalgamare gli errori con armonia?

One Art

The art of losing isn’t hard to master;
so many things seem filled with the intent
to be lost that their loss is no disaster.
Lose something every day. Accept the fluster
of lost door keys, the hour badly spent.

though it may look like (Write it!) like disaster.
